Policies and disclosures for prospective and enrolled students. The complete policies appear in the current Student Catalog, available from Admissions.

Financial or physical hardship withdrawal

As required by the Illinois Student Debt Assistance Act (110 ILCS 66/20), a student who must withdraw because of a significant financial or physical hardship — including serious injury or illness, chronic illness, a medical issue of a family member requiring the student to become a caretaker, a mental health condition, a sudden or consistent lack of transportation, or a significant cost-of-living increase — may request a hardship withdrawal. The school will work with the student to limit the debt owed as a result of the withdrawal and to assist the student if and when they choose to re-enroll; the re-entry fee is waived for hardship withdrawals. This process is explained at orientation, and any student who believes it applies to them should contact the school office.

Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds

A fair and equitable settlement policy applies to every termination of enrollment, for any reason, by either party. A student (or the parent or legal guardian of a student under legal age) may cancel the Enrollment Agreement by written notice prior to midnight of the fifth business day after signing it and receive a refund of all monies paid, less the non-refundable application fee. The complete cancellation, withdrawal, and refund schedule — including the tuition proration table required by Illinois law — is published in the current Student Catalog and stated in the Enrollment Agreement; contact Admissions for the current catalog. Refunds, where due, are paid within 45 calendar days of the date of determination of withdrawal.

Transcripts

As required by the Illinois Student Debt Assistance Act (110 ILCS 66), the school provides an official transcript — on payment of the transcript fee only — when requested for a job application, transfer to another institution, a financial aid application, or enlistment in the armed forces, regardless of any outstanding balance, and never refuses an unofficial transcript or charges a higher transcript fee because a debt is owed.

Outcome rates

Student outcomes are internally tracked by the school's student information system and are unaudited. The school's first accreditation annual report has not yet been filed; audited graduation, employment, and licensure rates will be published here when available. Completion of a program does not guarantee employment or licensure — placement is not guaranteed.

Licensure requirements

Esthetics (IDFPR)

Completion of 750 clock hours at a licensed school; minimum age 16; proof of the required secondary education; application to IDFPR with the required fee; and a passing score on the Illinois esthetics licensing examination administered by the Department's testing vendor.

Nail Technology (IDFPR)

Completion of 350 clock hours; minimum age 16; the required secondary education; IDFPR application and fee; and a passing score on the Illinois nail technology examination.

Massage Therapy (IDFPR — Massage Licensing Act)

Completion of an approved program of at least 600 clock hours; minimum age 18; a passing score on the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx); and an IDFPR application with fee and a fingerprint-based criminal background check.

Known barriers to licensure and employment

Licensure applications inquire into criminal history; IDFPR reviews convictions case-by-case and may refuse a license. A Social Security number is required for licensure. All examination, application, and licensing fees are paid by the student directly.

Emergency closures

Emergency school closings are announced on this website — a notice banner appears at the top of every page whenever the school is closed or a schedule changes.
